I bought this printer to work. Main needs: wide compatibility. We Mac laptop, laptops, computer networking and Mac on 2 different networks.
Hardware: very well built and reasonably compact color laser. Weighs 50-60 pounds of good. Very solid, impressive build quality. Installation hardware should be easier. Change / install cartridge lasts about 30 seconds …. remove the tray, pop in the cassette, the game is done. Compared to the Dell 3100cn is much more built, faster, quieter, easier to use.
Software: The first step is to connect the printer with a wireless access point. After what he did, all the rest is easy. I used Windows Vista and wireless networks to make the initial installation. Follow the direction exactly, and you should go a lot. I tried to skip some steps, enter the IP address of the printer, then install the driver as a representative ….. did not work.
