When my Brother laser printer started to die I started looking for a suitable replacement. Like many reviewers, I read many reviews of laser printers, and finally decided on the Brother 4070 because the sale at a good price and I was able to toners that have been discounted to find. When you purchase a printer, each of my main concerns is the cost of ink. The printing industry is a shame when it comes to lure consumers with one of the oldest scams in the book trade. They give you the printer is relatively inexpensive, and it kills the offer. The substitution of high-yield toner for this printer costs more than $ 400. Black print quality is average, and there is no movement or the setting of low quality. This is just normal and high print quality (of course the printer is set to rapidly deplete Brother toner so you can start to ask for a replacement cartridge.)
The printer has a toner save mode, but do not know how much of a difference
